Another update to the decor of the house and a few extra accessories starting with my bargain dinner set reduced from £35.74 to £10.73 as it had a broken handle. It's now fixed with super glue and it looks great in the dining room. Just have to make some napkins to finish off the table setting.
Next is the bathroom vanity. As you can see it's very plain.....well that was no good so I set about making it more Georgian in style by painting, adding some scrolling and I used my resin to add marbling to the top. Changed the feet and added some accessories.
The Curtains at last.
No room is complete without curtains and no matter how many pieces of furniture I added to each room I never felt the room looked right so I decided to get a move on making the curtains. ( I probably should have done them first๐ )
They are all made with silk brocade with very small patterns in keeping with the 1/12th scale.
The Music Room now with new decor
The Oriental Bedroom
They match the bedding but you can't really see it very well.
The Ladies bedroom
The Bathroom
The Morning Room or Blue room
OOOPS !! I forgot to take the pic before I hung them but you can see them quite well here white brocade with blue trim.
The Dining room
Last but not least. I love the colour of this silk I trimmed it with gold to match the decor
Dining room and bathroom
New kitchen Dresser it looks grey here but it's a pale green the same as the other furniture in the kitchen
Entrance hall umbrella stand
I bought the stand but made the umbrellas and walking sticks
Servant bells
Today I started making the servant bells, I've had the bells for ages and today I made the hooks for them I can now mount them onto the wood and fix them to the wall in the Servant's hall.
That's about it for this post I will be finishing off the inside of the house front and maybe get round to the roof Cupola as well lots still to do and keep me busy.
Keep safe see you next time ๐
Once again Vera you have surpassed yourself. It all looks amazing. From the dinner set to the vanity to the curtains and everything in between. What a wonderful talent you have. Love the servant bless at the end, it’s so so true to life, outstanding in my view. Keep up the good work, can’t wait for next update xx
